Day 3

Each day brings an opportunity for reflection, growth, and advancement. So, to put some real lessons into practice, here are a few of the key things I try to incorporate into each day.

My morning routine is key to making sure I keep my top priorities in mind. In order to keep myself at peak performance, I try to follow certain routines to maintain my overall health and wellness.

I wake up and go right to my exercises. My morning choice is DDPY (Diamond Dallas Paige Yoga) for it’s mix of yoga stretching, isometric resistance, and light weights to build muscle.

After this, I grab coffee and get in a short read on something that will engage my mind, challenge my thoughts, and expand my knowledge.

I prefer a morning shower, lotion/sunscreen, and then I put on my Lifewave Patches. They are amazing and I have already seen improvements in my general health, as well as specific improvements with certain recent medical concerns. I always wear the X39 and X49 for a base since they improve circulation, stimulate the copper peptide in my body to energize my stem cells and other self-healing systems, and keep my energy level even all day.

Next is the morning protein shake filled with collagen, magnesium, and my JuicePlus+ capsules. This provides my body with the base nutrition we miss from our foods, plus provides the energy and building blocks to make sure I stay as healthy as possible. It brides the gap naturally from what I eat and the vitamins I need.

Once I am in the office, I dive into my DarrenDaily to shift my mindset to being the CEO and building on my leadership skills. I review my goals for the year, the week, and today. I am now ready for my morning Jam Session – 90 minutes of focused, uninterrupted work time on one key initiative I have identified for the week.

The middle of my day is spent working in my business with clients, team members, and doing the work behind the scenes that makes my business successful.

Before I close up for the day I check in with my tracking system to see what I actually accomplished for the day and where I made strides. As well as where I may need to adjust my time tomorrow to ensure all key initiatives are given proper attention.

My evening is filled with family time that involves healthy cooking, relaxation, and connections. This is so important because no one can work all the time! I often try to work all the time and it is hard since we are both entrepreneurs, but you have to turn it off at some point and let your mind simmer. The best ideas often come when you quit thinking about it.

I start my evening ritual with stretches for my back and neck. Not only do I have injuries that try to come back when I don’t, but I feel better and sleep better when my body is relaxed. I also make sure to take care of my skin and patch up with my evening helpers.

I will never claim this is a perfect routine or list of habits, but I hope it shares some ideas for making sure you set priorities and then work daily, consistently to achieve them.

You see, I try not to put a time on my calendar – even though I have a rough schedule, I am not a slave to my clock. This provides me with the key success factors I need to achieve in my daily life to accomplish my long term goals.
